For now I've decided not to increase speed for the star because that would increase the lag in the game to monstrous proportions. If I can find another way to speed up a player then I will.

The OneUp Mushroom is done and shouldn't need any add-ons in the future.

Both of these will be put into the game as soon as Mario gets his internet back and can work on the icons. The OneUp Mushroom should be here sooner because it only requires 2 icons. But the Star needs an icon for every playable character plus the Star icon itself.
